. - U.S. Soldiers conduct subterranean training at Fort Hood, Texas, Oct. 9-19, 2018. The weeklong training advised soldiers on proper movement and maneuver techniques while clearing through tunnels for operations in a subterranean environment. The Subterranean environment presents challenges in regards to air quality, thermal and mechanical breaching, and avoiding chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. Asymmetric Warfare Group applies these capabilities utilizing operational advisors to analyze relevant future army requirements based on advisories asymmetric threat capabilities capacities in evolving approaches in order to create U.S. operational advantages in supporting and enhancing multi-domain effectiveness.
